- Kindergarten Party Host - 9/30
- We want our kindergarteners and their families to meet each other and make new friends. Are you great at greasing the wheels of conversation? Join us to help facilitate those introductions!
- Trunk or Treat - 10/16
- Host a trunk! You would decorate your car and hand out goodies to our trunk or treaters
- Donate candy or other goodies to support trunk hosts
- Provide activities. Host a game, face painting, photo booth, or other fun activity for our students.
- Turkey Trot Volunteer - 11/18
- Join us on the track to cheer on our walkers / runners / rollers / skippers / and jumpers!
- Provide activities for those who don't want to bop around the track. Host a jump rope contest or a read-a-thon
- Arts & Crafts Lead - 2/7
- Do you have a skill in a craft? Are you a great painter? Join us to lead our participants in a fun crafting activity!
- Family Sports Day Coach - 4/11
- Coach an activity, like kickball, basketball games, red light / green light, or whatever your favorite may be!
- Teacher Appreciation Champion - 5/3-5/7
- Decorate the teacher's lounge
- Create small gifts to celebrate our teachers
- Donate to a raffle for our teachers
- 5th Grade Champions - Spring 2027
- It is always a big lift to hunt down all the photos we need for the yearbook. We would love to have 1-2 parents in each homeroom to help ensure we have multiple photos for every student in the class of 2027!
- Field Day - 6/8
- The school will reach out for volunteers for the Field Day event.
- In particular, we will need 3-4 parents per session to oversee the inflatables the PTO provides.

Are You CORI'ED?
All Brookside volunteers must have an up-to-date Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) form on file with the school district if you plan to volunteer. This form needs to be on file whether you intend to volunteer at a PTO event, chaperone a field trip, participate in Field Day, or help out in your student's classroom. You can download and print the CORI form here. Please fill it out and send it in to the main office with your student. |
